Purpose of center:
The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities is New Jersey's federally designated University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service. The Center emphasizes a community based, life span and capacity-building approach to addressing the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and those who work on their behalf. The Boggs Center provides interdisciplinary education for students and fellows, community training and technical assistance, conducts research and model demonstrations, develops and disseminates information and educational materials, and advises policy makers.
