Purpose of center: | The Confucius Institute at Rutgers University (CIRU), as the first and only Confucius Institute in New Jersey, was established to promote quality Chinese language and culture education and to serve as a resource center for Chinese studies in New Jersey. CIRU is formed in partnership with Jilin University in China and with the support from the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban). |
