Purpose of center: | The BioMaPS Institute formally began operation on July 1, 2002 after several years of preparation. The institute's mission is to promote research and education at the interface between the biological, mathematical, and physical sciences. The Institute is the scientific and administrative home for the Graduate Program in Computational Biology and Molecular Biophysics. |
